SIA (Strategic Institute for the Arts) is an independent design university based in Bangkok, Thailand, with a mission to reimagine creative education for a new generation of designers, storytellers, and cultural entrepreneurs across Asia and beyond.

We believe that design today is not just aesthetic : it’s strategic, cross-disciplinary, and inseparable from technology, business, and society. At SIA, students learn to think critically, act creatively, and lead future-facing projects that shape culture and commerce.

Founded in 2025, SIA will launch its first full-time cohort in 2027 with a 3-year Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in
Strategic Design & Creative Futures, offered in academic partnership with global universities. The program is studio-based, research-driven, and structured around real-world projects and public exhibitions.

Our faculty, advisors, and studio partners span the worlds of design, strategy, creative technology, and branding.
Our 9-floor campus, located in the Cloud 11 innovation district of Bangkok, houses creative studios, thesis labs, a digital prototyping space, and Southeast Asia’s first exhibition-based design education hub.

SIA exists for those who want to design futures,
not just objects.
